The Public Health Department offers Partner Services. Partner Services is a program designed to inform a patient of potential exposure to HIV or an STD. As a notified partner, you can choose whether to be tested and can receive counseling about practicing safer behaviors to avoid future exposure to HIV and STIs.
If you are found to be infected, you can seek early medical treatment and practice behaviors that help prevent transmission of HIV and STI to others.
Contact the Crane Center at (408) 792-3720 for the following Partner Services:
- Obtain materials on how to notify your partners
- Schedule a dual notification with a trained Public Health HIV/STI counselor to help you notify your partner
- Request a trained Public Health HIV/STI counselor to notify your partner anonymously
Partner Services is a free, voluntary, and confidential service.
